You will be qualified to at least degree level in an Engineering discipline with an emphasis on Control Systems.  Experience of engine development, either from calibration, testing or control algorithm development is required. On Board Diagnostics and Aftertreatment Control would also be beneficial.
•Experience of control algorithm design and development for gasoline or diesel applications or transmission applications
•Experience of testbed and vehicle development
•An awareness of the emissions and OBD legislation
Robust character with strong drive and motivation.  Must have a commitment to succeed.
•Qualified to degree level with technical background in powertrain design and / or development
•Strong information transfer and inter-personal skills
•Must be practical, pro-active and have a hands-on approach.
•Focussed on delivering results and working as an integral part of the programme team
•Proficient in English and Mandarin languages (written and spoken) for project and technical communication
•Literate in IT systems (MS Project, calibration tools (eg ETAS)) and Good knowledge of Rapid Prototyping control systems, including Matlab and Simulink, dSPACE or ETAS toolchains
•Ability to understand C code and experience in embedded controllers is beneficial
